domestic violence
Domestic violence is a very bad thing. Some people tend to think that domestic violence is just towards women, but there wrong it also affects men as well. People can ruin a persons whole life in many ways. For one it can tear a person down in many ways such as there confidence in themselves, they don't think they are good enough for anyone besides the person that's beating them psychically and mentally. It also can tear apart a family as well. Imagine having your kids having to watch you get beat or yelled at like a piece of meat and not standing up for yourself. Believe it or not what your kids see is most likely what there going to grow up like or grow up doing. So keep that into perspective about domestic violence.

The aftermath of Domestic abuse is almost too predictable. It runs down from the victim to their children and even to the children of their children. Trauma is one of the common factors every victim of domestic abuse experiences and they have to go on in life (sometimes they don't the trauma being to great) with their self esteem shattered, their soul heavy and their dreams broken... Nothing is ever ever the same.
ReplyDeleteRenee,I sort of agree with most of what you said. The only thing I disagree with is, you can not really know that all kids most likely will end up as abusers. I learned in sociology that broad statements such as that should be backed up by fact. Though I feel you are probably right a citing would make your words that much more powerful.
